Upon approved and validated payment, you can expect your jewel to ship out within 24 hours, for all domestic shipments it will be next day air. Shipping is free of charge for all non-refunded items.
For SMALLER JEWELS
We provide insured, overnight shipping at no charge to you for all items purchased. Packages will be sent via Fedex, securely packed and sealed in a box within a box with no mention of jewelry, diamonds, etc.; we will provide you with tracking information so the item can be received and signed for by and adult the following day after shipping. We do not ship on Fridays or before Bank Holidays to avoid packages sitting in storage. This service provides piece of mind for both parties, since we are experienced in shipping jewelry merchandise discreetly and avoid any shipping delays or risks. In the unlikely case of a return, we will also provide a paid, insured overnight shipping label to you. Please see our Refunds & Exchange Policy* for more details.
In the case of a return or exchange, we will provide you with an overnight, trackable, insured label via Fedex. Please place your piece in a small box, encased within a larger box, and use only the provided label. Please do not mention or label the package with any jewelry, gem, or diamond terminology. We also ask that you take a video of yourself sealing the package with the item and signing a bold signature on the box, then send the video to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to shipping. To ensure the safety of your piece, be sure to shake the box before sealing it to make sure small sounds or rattles are not heard.
Once your package has been received, we will promptly notify you and proceed to inspect the items. Please be patient and understanding with us - due to the fragile and irreplaceable nature of our items, we take the return process seriously.
If your return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Your refund may include a processing fee of up to 2% (to cover insured shipping both ways and any bank transaction fees that may occur, including escrow.com).
For MINERAL SPECIMENS
Shipping within the US is via insured US Priority Mail unless otherwise specified. To help customers save on shipping costs, we calculate rates on a per-order basis. Shipping rates vary based on destination and weight, but for single small specimens, shipping generally is between $12-20 depending on destination and item value. We ship signature required unless other arrangements are made. Heavier specimens or packages will incur higher charges depending on weight and size.
We are also happy to work with you if you would prefer FedEx or Express Mail.
Since we ship signature required, packages can be re-routed to USPS facilities if clients are not home to receive them. If packages are returned to us due to client failure to retrieve packages from postal centers, clients will be responsible for paying shipping fees to resend the item.
International shipping is handled via FedEx or International Priority Mail. FedEx packages typically clear customs and are delivered easily within 2-7 days and courier service agents are on hand in customs to ensure that mineral specimens are not stolen or lost if a package is opened. We recommend this service as it is well worth the premium. If you prefer international priority mail, expect delivery 6-10 business days after payment clears.
We assume responsibility for loss or damage en route for couriered, tracked shipments only, but not for First Class (Airmail). If concerned about tracking and safety, we encourage customers to pay the extra cost for FedEx shipping.
Note: If you live in England/Singapore, please strongly consider FedEx as these countries tend to experience the greatest number of delays and theft.
